I watched the Pink Floyd set from the Live 8 concert on TV yesterday. It was incredible to watch all four members perform together again. They sounded excellent and David Gilmour's guitar solos were sharp and perfectly measured.
One of my favorite documentaries remains their brilliant Live at Pompeii (1972), where Gilmour insists (unconvincingly) in an interview: "We're really not a drug band."
