I stopped by Tampa Libros on Armenia Avenue yesterday and bought the following paperbacks (2 chapbooks and a book-length essay) .
Ángel Cuadra, Fantasía para el viernes (Miami: Solar, 1985).
Ángel Cuadra, Réquiem violento por Jan Palach (Miami: Edición de autor, 1989).
Álvaro de Villa y Jose Sánchez-Boudy, Lezama Lima: Peregrino inmóvil (Paradiso al desnudo) (Miami: Ediciones Universal, 1974).
The Ángel Cuadra (Havana, 1931) editions are two chapbook sequences written in the 1960s and 1970s while the author was in jail, a political prisoner of the Castro regime. I had come across Cuadra's work a decade ago, but these are the first collections of his I've read closely.

porque desde cada fruto una raíz incontrolable amanece."
