The Quest

We never found the Grail.
The stories weren’t true.
Only the fatigue of the roads accompanied
those who ventured,
but expected tales.
What would our living be
without them?

Nothing was resolved,
we could have just stayed home.
But we’re so restless.
And yet, once the journey was over
we felt that within us
—no longer hostages
to hope—
another mettle
had been born.
