Birds

Above the horror of the sea
dance the birds,
mystical scissors,
angels of this world.

Above the marine horror
fly my solitudes
like memory’s lightning.

The wind brings
lost kingdom birds,
memories that spin
like strange signs
over the sea of a recovered time.
